ABOUT LEE'S GUNSMITHING

Lee's was the home of Cowboy Action Shooting Gunsmithing for nearly three decades. However due to our pretty much retired status we've made a few changes.

Due to having less hours to work and more work than we can keep up with we have decided to no longer work on firearms, but we will continue to make and market our spring kits.

ABOUT OUR GUN KITS

Our custom gun kits are performance-engineered for the top competitors, but perfect for the rest of us too.

Don't just take it from us, see what our happy customers have to say!

GREAT FOR A COWBOY SHOTGUN

"Easily installed in a Stoeger Uplander. Search the Internet for other suggestions on a basic action job when you have the shotgun action open. Use this as an opportunity to remove and polish the extractor and the action bar. Installed easily and made the shotgun much easier to open. A month later, I went back and took off one or two coils."

EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

"I installed a set of Wolff springs in my Uberti Cattleman, then installed this set of Lee Gunslinger springs. I wanted to see which I liked the best. The Lee Gunslinger springs are much better in my humble opinion; noticeably easier cocking and also more consistent hammer resistance throughout its arc of travel while cocking. The Lee Gunslinger springs are my choice. I did have to use my Dremel tool to grind a small bit of metal off of the end of the spring at the hammer end for the spring to work well without binding up, but that was very minor work and the end result is a spring that I consider superior to the Wolff spring."

GUNSLINGER RIFLE SPRING KITS

EXCELLENT KIT

"This kit should be the center piece of any action job for these rifles. The trigger spring was only lightly contoured at the trigger contact area, and all others were installed unchanged. Trigger pull was reduced from 5lbs 11oz to 2lbs 9oz. Modest amounts of stone work on friction points and this kit make for a great action job."
